OUR FOUNDER STARTED HIS CAREER working on a foundations and framing crew in the mid 1990’s. As an apprentice, he quickly learned the ropes, learning about staking and layouts, grading, trenching, soils compaction and forming. Mostly working in the hillside communities of Los Angeles, he learned how to construct caissons, grade beams, retaining walls, lagging and shoring, shotcrete walls, complex drainage systems with pumps, underground utility work, and steel moment frames, to name just a few things.
Framing walls, stairs, floor sheathing, roof sheathing, shear walls, cutting and stocking roofs on multiple floors became second nature. Most importantly, integrating foundations and framing for a seamless and continuous build became an art as well as a science.
TODAY, our founder, along with our Construction Director Larry, who himself adds 40+ years of experience, pass down generations of experience for a professional buildout.
